Who our group is:

Rainbow Rights is a self-advocacy group run by and for people with an intellectual disability in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTIQA+) community.

We have joined together to support each other and have our voices heard in the LGBTIQA+ and Disability community and the general community.

What does our group care about?

  • Our rights in the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Learning to speak up
  • Health issues for our community
people using a computer

Things our group has worked on:

  • Attended and run forums
  • Speaking at events
  • Speaking on the radio and tv

Who can be member of our group?

You can be a member of Rainbow Rights and Advocacy Group if you:

  • Have an intellectual disability
  • Are part of the rainbow community
  • Live in Victoria
